A very user friendly downloadable software called Voice Print is available from Train My Voice.
This software is FREE for 10 days and if you like it, is available for $55.00. It is used for the advanced voice femininization program "Beyond the Fundamentals: from passable to beautiful."
"Voice Print" is a sophisticated yet simple to use spectrum analyzer. It provides real-time spectrum analysis, voice resonance analysis, and pitch detection, allows comparison of the spectra of different vocalizations using a split screen display, and allows voiceprints to be saved as audio files and graphic images for subsequent replay and study.
You can get a free download from several internet sites. The PRAAT sound analyzer is complex, but is worth a look at for the technically sophisticated.
